This season was a great start for the Lady Cougars! With a total of seven varsity spots filled, the girls put forth their best effort as we navigated our first year together.
They fought to stay in the top half of team scores in some of the toughest tournaments throughout the season. Their individual and team efforts did not go unnoticed as they progressed throughout the season. Each athlete displayed tremendous growth, with many showcasing impressive technical improvements and mental toughness. From the intense practices to the high-pressure moments on the mat, the Lady Cougars displayed resilience and a commitment to excellence.
Several athletes earned personal milestones, breaking through previous records and setting new standards for the program. The camaraderie and support between teammates were evident as they cheered each other on, pushing one another to achieve their best.
With the season's successes serving as a solid foundation, the Lady Cougars are eager to build upon this momentum in the coming years, aiming for even greater achievements both individually and as a team. Their dedication and passion for the sport have laid the groundwork for a bright future ahead.

We entered the district tournament with six competitors, and five made the podium with three moving on to regionals:
