Girls Head Coach
This past season was my first year coaching wrestling, and it’s been an incredibly rewarding chapter in my journey with the sport. I began wrestling at Birdville High School, where I made history as the first female wrestler. Over the course of three years, I trained, competed, and mentored other female wrestlers across the district, helping to grow the presence of women’s wrestling in our area. My senior year, I qualified for the state tournament, a milestone that fueled my passion for leadership and competition.
I continued wrestling at the University of North Texas, where I deepened my knowledge of the sport and embraced the mindset that wrestling is about more than wins—it's about discipline, resilience, and character.
As head coach of Lady Cougars Wrestling, I’m dedicated to creating a team culture where every athlete is seen, supported, and challenged to grow. We train hard, support each other, and strive to be better every day—on and off the mat. This first season laid a strong foundation, and I’m excited to keep building something powerful together.
We’re not just making wrestlers—we’re making history.
