This season marked a powerful step forward for the Lady Cougars as the pride continued to rise in tournament standings and overall performance. Competing in some of the toughest events on the schedule, the Cougars didn’t just stay competitive — they climbed the ranks, increasing team placings and bringing home more individual wins, medals, and podium finishes than ever before.
The growth of girls wrestling was evident not only in our results but in our roster. Expanding from 12 to 14 official weight classes, the sport continues to open doors for more female athletes to compete and thrive. Our program embraced that growth, with a strong group of JV wrestlers rapidly developing and working their way toward varsity-level competition. Their dedication in the practice room accelerated their skill progression, strengthening depth across the lineup and building the future of the program.
Match after match, our athletes demonstrated remarkable growth in technique, strategy, and mental toughness. From demanding practices to high-pressure championship rounds, the Lady Cougars competed with confidence, resilience, and relentless determination. Their commitment to excellence showed in every scramble, every takedown, and every hard-fought victory.
This season also saw multiple personal milestones achieved, with wrestlers breaking previous records and setting new program standards in wins and achievements. Just as powerful as the results was the unity within the pride — teammates pushing one another in the room, celebrating every victory, and standing together through every challenge.
With momentum building and standards rising, the Lady Cougars are no longer just laying a foundation — they are building a legacy. Fueled by dedication, accountability, and Lady Cougar pride, the future is stronger, faster, and more determined than ever.
